She wanted to persuade officials to act on climate change. Swedish media captured Thunbergs striking and spread the word. Then the strike, thousands of students joined in the #FridaysforFuture campaign. They skipped school every Friday to protest climate changes. In 2019 climate campaigners across the globe came together for the initial Global Strike for Climate. This was a huge success. More than 1.6 million participants across over 125 countries participated.

Nia Peeples is born Virenia Gwendolyn. She is an American performer and a singer. Her most well-known role is her role as Pam Fields (in the drama Pretty Little Liars) and Nicole Chapman (on the show Fame).
